Description:
Tree of Life: A Journey into the Field of Dreams
A Metaphysical Historical Novel by Nataša Pantović
Tree of Life is a profound metaphysical novel by Nataša Pantović, set in the mystical and spiritually charged environment of Findhorn, UK. This novel explores the universal concept of the Tree of Life, which has been interpreted in various religious traditions and myths as a symbol of the interconnectedness of all life on Earth. It is a journey into the sacred, bridging cultures and spiritual practices across time and space.
The story weaves through the author’s own life, intertwined with the adoption journey that takes her from Serbia to Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Malta, exploring the depths of human connection, love, and the profound mysteries of existence.
In this narrative, the Tree of Life symbolizes the micro and macro cosmos, highlighting how our personal journeys are reflections of the grander cosmic dance. "The subconscious material or mind (chitta) has its own 'body,'" Pantović writes, "and as we ascend the Spiral of Consciousness, we begin to understand how we relate to one another in our collective drive for Goodness."
The novel contemplates the relationship between the individual and the universe, offering a meditative exploration of how we grow, evolve, and interact with each other. It reflects on the deeper knowledge and understanding of the Self within the greater framework of Conscious Living, recognizing our connection to all sentient beings and the world around us.
Through a blend of adoption, spirituality, alchemy, and mysticism, Tree of Life invites readers to reflect on their own lives, the patterns that shape their journeys, and the universal truths that connect all humans across cultures and histories. With each page, readers are encouraged to open their hearts to the infinite possibilities of spiritual growth, universal connection, and love.

Tree of Life: A Metaphysical Journey into Consciousness, Adoption, and Spiritual Wisdom
by Nataša Pantović
As I embark on this journey with you through the pages of Tree of Life, I invite you to explore not just a true adoption story, but also a deeply personal, metaphysical adventure that touches on the most profound questions about life, consciousness, and the human experience.
"If we discover a complete theory, in time it should be understood by everyone—physicians, laymen, biologists, psychologists, passers-by. Knowing the mind of God! If we find the answer to that, it would enlighten our living."
These words are more than just a philosophy; they are an invitation to unlock the mysteries of the universe through introspection, curiosity, and love. The journey of life, as we know it, may often seem chaotic or unknowable, but the answers lie in the wisdom of the ancients and the search for the divine that transcends religion, culture, and time.
In this novel, you will encounter my exploration of ancient wisdom—the theosophy and esoteric knowledge that has been passed down through the ages by cultures such as the Persians, Egyptians, Chinese, Maltese, Cypriots, and the Bogomils of the Balkans, as well as alchemists in the West. Their sacred teachings are the key to unlocking a greater understanding of our consciousness and the nature of reality.
Drawing upon the wisdom of Hermann Hesse's "The Glass Bead Game," I remind you, as I remind myself, that “there is truth, my boy, but the doctrine you desire, absolute, perfect dogma that alone provides wisdom, does not exist.” This quest for a perfect doctrine is an illusion, a veil we must pull back as we pursue the perfection of our own selves—for in this search, we uncover our truest potential.
In Tree of Life, I also delve into adoption—a very personal journey I have undertaken, one that mirrors my spiritual quest. Through the stories of my adopted children from Ethiopia, and my time spent in Serbia, Africa, Kenya, and Malta, I explore the symbolism of family as a microcosm of the greater universe. The adoption of children is not just an act of love, but also an act of consciousness—the realization that we are all interconnected on this beautiful planet.
Through the course of this novel, we will address several deeply profound questions, each one a stepping stone on the path to understanding our place in the universe:
- Is there a God? The omnipotent, omnipresent force that unites us all.
- Is there a Soul? The consciousness that reflects divine knowledge within us all.
- Are we a trinity of forces? Can we, through charity, love, and the appreciation of beauty, ascend the spiral of spiritual evolution?
- Do we have free will? How can we free ourselves from the influence of our thoughts and embrace the divine flow of life?
- What is the meaning of life? Can we discover this meaning through symbols like the Star of David, or through the life-death-rebirth cycle?
- Is there life after death? How does our behavior pattern get passed on, and do our children manifest aspects of our own experiences?
- Can we truly transcend the oppositions of Yin and Yang? Can we merge our intuitive and rational selves to find harmony?
These are the questions that have guided my journey and led me to adopt two children from Ethiopia after a life-changing experience in Kenya and Africa. As I assisted Father George in building a school for children in a remote African village, I realized the importance of love and consciousness in creating change. It was through this process of adoption and spiritual growth that I began to understand the true meaning of conscious living—not just as a personal goal, but as a universal calling.
In conclusion, this story is not just mine—it is a collective story, one that belongs to all of humanity. Through examining the intertwined threads of love, adoption, consciousness, ancient wisdom, and the interconnection of all life, I invite you to open your heart and mind to the deeper truths of existence. The answers may not be simple, but they are profound. The journey of understanding begins within, and it is through that inner exploration that we find our connection to the divine, to each other, and to all sentient beings on this beautiful planet.
With Love and Wisdom,

Tree of Life: a Journey into the Field of Dreams

Wu Wei poem from Tree of Life a Journey into the Field of Dreams (AoL Book 9) by Natasa Pantovic
Wu Wei,
Flow of life governed by Tao,
The flow of change, spontaneous,
Natural, effortless.
Acting through non-action,
Connecting with Earth, Moon, and Sun,
Through being—not inert,
Not lazy, nor passive.
But swimming swiftly within the current,
Merging Life with Tao,
Quiet and watchful,
Not-interfering.
Receptive, alert,
Directly connected,
Acting without action,
Trusting, detached without desire.
Spontaneous, natural,
Effortless Living.
This poem, from Nataša Pantović's Tree of Life, embodies the core principle of Wu Wei—a concept deeply rooted in Taoism. It emphasizes the idea of flowing with the natural rhythm of life, not forcing or striving, but trusting the spontaneous, effortless unfolding of the universe. It speaks to the importance of being present and receptive to the moment, while maintaining a sense of active detachment and trust in the process of life.
